The constant neck and back pain became unbearable. It all started in my second year of dental school when I first noticed the soreness. As I progressed in my career as a dentist and practice owner, I found myself relying on weekly chiropractor and massage appointments just to feel ready for another week of work. I knew something had to change.

After some research, I realized the root cause was my posture—specifically my head and neck position. My traditional loupes were not designed with ergonomics in mind, and that was taking a toll on my body. At the time, no loupes company was producing ergonomic loupes, but I was inspired by the way an endo microscope redirects light. I wondered if the same principle could be applied to loupes.

Determined to find a solution, I set out to create the first prototype. Once I tested it, the relief was immediate—my neck and back pain subsided. Soon after, my dental hygienists began asking about my ergonomic loupes, and it became clear that this wasn’t just my problem. Many dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and assistants, were suffering from the same issue.

With that realization, we made it our mission to design ergonomic loupes for all dental professionals. Today, we're proud to offer the lightest, most stylish Ergo-Loupes, helping dentists, hygienists, and assistants alike practice with less pain.
